Squire Sanders Closes Tallahassee Office

Squire Sanders & Dempsey has announced its plan to close its Tallahassee office on October 1st. The four residing lawyers will transfer to one of Squire's other Florida offices. The firm's decision to close this office rested largely on the loss of Jim Krog, who died in 2008.

Shearman & Sterling Snags OCC Assistant Director

Shearman & Sterling is gaining a financial regulatory counsel in its Washington office. Donald Lamson, who has worked at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for approximately 20 years, is joining the firm. He was most recently an assistant director at the OCC.
