Helana A. Darrow has joined Frost Brown Todd as a member in the employee benefits practice area. Prior to joining the firm, Darrow was a partner with Dinsmore & Shohl. She has experience in all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation including: counseling clients on the design, implementation, administration, operation and termination of employee benefit plans. She also represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

Walter Investment Management Corp. $55 Million Revolving Credit Facility Upsize

Davis Polk advised Credit Suisse AG, as administrative agent, and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, as lead arranger, in connection with an amendment to Walter Investment Management Corp.’s existing first-lien senior secured credit facility, which amendment provided for an increase in the size of Walter Investment’s revolving credit facility from $45 million to $100 million.

Asst. US Attorney Niewoehner Joins Steptoe’s White-Collar Defense Team

Steptoe is pleased to announce that Assistant US Attorney Christopher Niewoehner, a deputy chief in the Financial Crimes and Special Prosecution section of the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, will be joining the firm as a partner in the White-Collar Criminal Defense practice which includes acclaimed trial attorney Reid Weingarten.  Mr. Niewoehner will be based in Steptoe’s Chicago office.
