Perkins Coie has further expanded its bench of former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawyers with the addition of Aaron Washington, former assistant general counsel at Citadel Securities, to the firm’s Investment Management practice in the Washington, D.C., office. The move brings together a growing group of former SEC lawyers and colleagues who have deep legal and industry experience from working at the financial market regulator.

Major Middle East Expansion for Gibson Dunn as it Opens Abu Dhabi Office and Hires Seven-Lawyer Team

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is significantly expanding in the Middle East, with the opening of an Abu Dhabi office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market and the hire of a seven-lawyer team in the United Arab Emirates. The new team includes three of the leading partners in the Middle East: Renad Younes and Samuel Ogunlaja who will join the new Abu Dhabi office, and Jade Chu, who will be based in Dubai. The trio arrives from Shearman & Sterling.
