Allen & Overy Bolsters Global Investigations Offering Through Hire of Patrick Ploeger

A&O has announced the appointment of Patrick Ploeger as partner in its investigations practice group. Ploeger joins from law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, where he was a partner in the investigations and litigation practice group since 2007.

His arrival strengthens A&O’s market leading global Investigations practice, complementing the firm’s reputation for helping clients when they are faced with sensitive criminal or regulatory investigations and proceedings, or enforcement action by domestic or foreign authorities.

Patrick Ploeger is a leading global practitioner in the area of white-collar crime and investigations, specializing in corporate criminal defense, litigation, regulatory enforcement and investigations. He has led cross-border internal investigations into matters such as corruption and bribery, anti-money laundering, market abuse, tax fraud, export controls & economic sanctions and other business crime, regulatory and compliance issues. Ploeger also has extensive experience in litigating complex corporate, financial services and regulatory disputes and is an expert in financial reporting and auditing.
