Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that R. Todd Silliman has joined the Global Energy Group as Head of the US Environmental Practice and partner in the Atlanta office. Mr. Silliman represents clients in environmental litigation and regulatory compliance matters under federal, state and local environmental laws. He also advises developers, manufacturers, financial institutions, and other businesses on environmental liability, risk management, and opportunities for tax abatements and other incentives under federal and state laws. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Mr. Silliman was a partner at Dentons in Atlanta, where he was Managing Partner of the Atlanta office and co-chair of the firm’s US Environment and Natural Resources practice.

He has been involved in major brownfield redevelopment projects throughout the US. He is ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA for Environmental Law in Georgia and was named Lawyer of the Year for Water Law in Georgia by Best Lawyers in America. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Silliman is active in his community. He is a Leadership Atlanta alum and has served on the boards of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership, the Georgia Conservancy, the Atlanta Shakespeare Company and All Saints’ Episcopal Church. |
