His practice includes complex litigation, business and commercial transaction matters in a variety of fields and industries, primarily in the areas of entertainment, intellectual property, technology and media. Rogers counsels institutional and individual clients on a range of issues related to crisis management, business disputes and litigation prevention, as well as non-litigation matters, frequently in the capacity of outside general counsel.

Rogers is President of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association and was lauded among the 2020 Top Music Lawyers by Billboard.
He earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and his B.B.A. from Texas State University.
Rose represents a variety of high-profile clients, including award-winning creatives, multiplatinum recording artists and producers and celebrity entertainers. With certifications in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School and Transactional Law from Emory University School of Law, John provides counseling on various topics related to business disputes, litigation prevention and crisis management as well as non-litigation matters. He has high-level experience drafting, analyzing and negotiating agreements involving content and distribution, production, marketing, management, photography, licensing, concerts and other subjects.
He also has intellectual property experience, representing athletes, producers, recording artists, record companies, television networks and entertainment production companies on various IP matters.
