Womble Bond Dickinson has strengthened its Product Liability Litigation practice in the firm’s Atlanta office with the addition of Sara Tucker, a veteran mass torts litigator with deep experience in medical device and pharmaceutical litigation. Tucker comes to Womble Bond Dickinson from Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Atlanta office, where, she distinguished herself as an elite trial lawyer defending high-stakes mass tort and multi-district cases.
The American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division selected Tucker for its “On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers” award in 2019, and Georgia Super Lawyers magazine recognized Tucker as a Rising Star for each of the past five years. The Daily Report also recognized Tucker in its 2017 list of lawyers “On the Rise.”
“Product liability and mass torts litigation have long been a strength of our firm and a focus in our Atlanta office. Sara has a proven track record of success in jury trials and in managing large cases, and we are delighted to have her join our already robust team,” Chris Douglas, Womble Bond Dickinson’s Mass Torts Practice Group Leader, said.
Womble Bond Dickinson Atlanta Office Managing Partner Joel Pieper said, “We are dedicated to adding top talent here in the Atlanta market, and Sara certainly fits that description. In just over a decade, Sara has risen to lofty heights as an elite mass torts litigator, and we know she will thrive on our platform.”
“I am thrilled to join the trusted team of advisors and expert product liability litigators at Womble. The firm’s strategic growth trajectory provides significant opportunity to grow my individual practice as a diverse trial attorney in high stakes litigation while also providing the excellence and value our clients deserve,” Tucker said. “Diverse leadership is only one example, of many, that drew me to this dynamic firm. Womble also has an outstanding track record of providing hands-on, efficient, and exemplary legal advice in the United States, across the Atlantic, and around the world. I could not be more excited to be a part of the firm now and fully engaging in its vision for the future.”
