Squire Patton Boggs, one of the world’s largest law firms, announced the opening of an office in Atlanta. Wayne Bradley, Petrina Hall McDaniel and Ann-Marie McGaughey will join the firm as partners, bringing extensive transactional, litigation and cybersecurity expertise to what will be the firm’s eighteenth office in the United States and forty-seventh worldwide.

Wayne Bradley advises domestic and global, public and private companies in a variety of strategic transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. His practice spans the additional areas of corporate finance, distress, and commercial contracts. Wayne has extensive experience across industries including paper and corrugated packaging, aviation, manufacturing, retail and food & beverage. A significant portion of his experience is in representing non-US companies in their operations, financial transactions and acquisitions in the US, and in representing global companies in transactions and other matters across multiple jurisdictions. Petrina McDaniel is a commercial litigator and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) whose practice blends complex litigation, regulatory compliance, and privacy counseling. She has successfully litigated complex commercial cases in state and federal courts across the country, including appellate courts. Petrina resolves wide-ranging disputes and high-stakes litigation in diverse matters such as consumer class actions, breach of contracts, business torts, statutory violations, and regulatory claims, with a particular emphasis on privacy litigation. Additionally, Petrina works with clients to protect the privacy and security of consumer information through the development and implementation of privacy compliance policies, information security programs, and data breach response protocols. She helps clients strengthen vendor agreements to protect customer information, and crafts consumer-facing marketing strategies to comply with federal regulations promulgated by the FCC and the FTC. In addition, Petrina advises on best practices and risk mitigation techniques in privacy and data security, and provides strategic compliance counseling related to the TCPA and other federal and state consumer protections laws.
Ann-Marie McGaughey represents both publicly and privately held companies, including family businesses, in a wide array of industries, including technology, retail, manufacturing, automotive, energy, travel, health and beauty, financial services and other service-oriented industries. She has particular depth of expertise in representing companies based outside of the US in connection with US transactions and operations, and coordinating multi-discipline and multi-jurisdictional teams.
