Jackson Walker successfully represented its client Zachry Holdings, Inc. in the acquisition of Houston-based JV Industrial Companies, a major industrial services provider that serves Fortune 500 clients, primarily in the refining and petrochemicals sector.
The acquisition of JV Industrial, with its dozens of offices and work sites across the country, will enable San Antonio-based Zachry to expand into new markets, providing a wide range of enhanced services in engineering, construction, maintenance, turnarounds, and fabrication. After the acquisition, Zachry will operate in close to 350 sites nationwide, with a workforce of over 20,000.
Led by Patrick Tobin, a Jackson Walker team from a variety of practice groups represented Zachry in the transaction, including Stephanie Chandler, Chuck Campbell, Jason Johns, April Vasquez, Steve Jacobs, Leonard Dougal, Peter Bean, Andrew Solomon, Ann Leafstedt, Anita Barksdale, and others. Jackson Walker worked collaboratively throughout the deal with Zachry’s senior management team and its investment banker, Houlihan Lokey in Los Angeles, and its accountants Ernst & Young.
Jackson Walker’s deep familiarity with the client and its business, combined with its expertise in all types of Mergers and Acquisitions, enabled the team to help Zachry close the acquisition quickly, adding efficiency and value for the client.
