“Greenberg Traurig established a presence in Texas 20 years ago, long before other firms started moving to the market. Our team continues to hire skilled practitioners that offer clients innovative and collaborative legal counsel to reach their complex business goals. The strategic addition of Scott and Zeena further adds to our growth in Austin, Houston, and Dallas and enhances our already strong presence across the state and firmwide,” said Richard A. Rosenbaum, Greenberg Traurig Executive Chairman.

“We are thrilled to welcome Scott and Zeena to our diverse and thriving Texas team,” said Demetrius G. McDaniel, the firm’s regional operating shareholder for Texas. “Greenberg Traurig Texas has planted deep roots in our market. Scott’s private equity and fund experience will be a welcomed addition since client demand in the United States for services from our Private Funds Group has doubled in recent years. Zeena’s experience in real estate and sports law will provide a value-add in these two flourishing practice areas. Scott and Zeena’s skills, integrity, and reputation will allow us to continue our strong progress and emphasis on client service.”

Murray focuses his practice on fund formation and investment management which includes the formation of funds, fund governance, and fund economic arrangements, growth and early-stage capital investments, complex partnership structures, and equity line arrangements. Murray also has experience with investment management and broker-dealer regulatory compliance.

“Greenberg Traurig’s global platform is in a class of its own and will provide advanced resources and reach to elevate my practice,” Murray said. “I look forward to working across various practices and markets while working to grow the Texas Funds Practice.”

Angadicheril represents landlords and tenants in lease preparations and negotiations, as well as in evictions and other enforcement actions.
