Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP announced today that corporate and real estate attorney William J. Liss has joined the firm as a partner in its Boca Raton office. He joins from Santen & Hughes in Cincinnati, where he was a managing partner.

Liss focuses his practice on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, commercial and financial transactions, taxation of individuals and business entities, corporate succession planning, and nonprofit organizations.

Liss earned an LL.M. from the University of Florida College of Law (taxation); a JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law; and a BA, summa cum laude, from Ohio University.
