WilmerHale is pleased to announce that Sarah Hogan, an accomplished corporate attorney with a focus in life sciences and digital health licensing and collaboration transactions, has joined the firm as partner in our Boston office. Hogan comes to the firm from McDermott, Will & Emery.
Ms. Hogan brings 15 years’ experience in working with life sciences and digital health companies on complex strategic transactions. She regularly advises clients on significant collaborations to develop and commercialize pharmaceutical, digital health and medical device products; licensing arrangements for patents, software and data; manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements relating to pharmaceutical, medical device, digital health and other products at all stages of the product life cycle; and joint ventures for products at the intersection of health, technology and life sciences.
Ms. Hogan counsels a broad range of clients, including start-up companies, venture capital and private equity-backed entities, large public companies, hospitals and nonprofit research institutions. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Hogan worked as a scientist at a biotechnology company.

Ms. Hogan has been recognized by various media outlets and organizations for her contributions to the legal community, including LMG Life Sciences, Legal 500, The Best Lawyers in America and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Ms. Hogan earned a JD from Northeastern University School of Law. She holds an MS in Genetics from the University of New Hampshire and a BS in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She joins WilmerHale from a large international law firm in Boston.
Ms. Hogan is the most recent addition to WilmerHale’s nationally recognized Life Sciences practice, which includes lawyers from across the firm focused on serving the corporate, IP, regulatory and litigation needs of clients in the life sciences and digital health industries.
