Global law firm Goodwin announced today that partner Brian Bewley and associate Kaitlyn Dunn joined the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practices, resident in the Washington, DC, and Boston offices, respectively. Having worked for the Office of Inspector General, Bewley and Dunn bring significant regulatory and government experience to Goodwin. They join from a regional law firm, where they teamed up in private practice after the OIG. Immediately prior to joining the firm, the pair practiced with Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC.
Bewley and Dunn advise a diverse group of healthcare and life sciences companies, both in the for-profit and not-for-profit spaces, on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues. They also advise buyers and sellers, including private equity firms, on complex compliance and operational considerations in healthcare transactions. The duo brings a long track record of successfully defending healthcare and life sciences clients in False Claims Act, civil monetary penalty, exclusion, and other civil and criminal investigations, and audits conducted by the OIG and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
