Goodwin Procter Adds Private Investments Expert Luciana Aquino-Hagedorn in Boston

Goodwin Procter, a leading Am Law 50 and Global 50 law firm, announced today that Luciana Aquino-Hagedorn is joining the firm as a partner in its Financial Institutions Group in Boston. Luciana returns to Goodwin from Harvard Management Corporation (HMC), the entity responsible for managing Harvard University’s endowment, where she served most recently as Senior Vice President for HMC’s Natural Resources Group.

Aquino-Hagedorn has diverse experience in both portfolio management and as a transactional lawyer. She focuses her transactional practice on cross-border emerging market investments and investments in natural resources, and has particular expertise structuring and negotiating complex investments, restructurings and exits, in addition to managing general legal requirements for these investments on an ongoing basis with sensitivity to the implications of local laws. In addition, she has developed significant business and market insight from her first-hand experience as part of an institutional investment team at HMC.

Prior to her tenure at HMC, she was a financial services transactional lawyer at Goodwin Procter. Aquino-Hagedorn is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
