The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Elise Zoli has joined the Firm in Boston as a partner in its international Energy Practice.
Ms. Zoli provides comprehensive national and global strategic direction on behalf of leading clean energy and water companies and their investors. She has particular experience in first-in-kind M&A or strategic investment in the nuclear, solar, transportation electrification (fuel cell and battery), storage, micro- and smart-grid, and wind sectors. As an advisor to energy clients on regulatory matters and related litigation, Ms. Zoli has addressed the resource considerations relevant to the existing and emergent clean energy sectors. Chambers & Partners has called Ms. Zoli “the leading energy attorney in the state,” and she has been continuously listed as a leading energy lawyer by that publication since 2007.
A prominent lawyer in the nuclear sector, Ms. Zoli’s experience includes a variety of transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters addressing the use and release of radioisotopes, as well as the operation, decommissioning and re-use of nuclear power plants, former defense sites, biotech, and industrial facilities that employ radioisotopes.
