Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. is expanding its Tax Practice with the addition of Roy W. Gillig. Formerly a Partner at Burns & Levinson LLP, Mr. Gillig joins as a Member in Mintz Levin’s Boston office.
Mr. Gillig focuses on federal, state, and international tax planning as well as on tax controversy and litigation and other tax-related legal services. He provides advice and counsel to individuals, corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and other entities in a variety of industries on tax issues arising from day-to-day operations and from a broad range of transactions, including matters such as entity formation and financing; acquisitions, mergers, and dispositions; international operations and assignments; and joint ventures

Mr. Gillig received his BA from Syracuse University School of Management and his JD from Syracuse University School of Law.
