Morgan Lewis today welcomes finance lawyer Marjorie Crider as a partner in Boston. Ms. Crider has an extensive background in asset-based lending (ABL) transactions, with a special emphasis on lending in the retail industry. She joins Morgan Lewis from a leading Boston corporate firm.
Ms. Crider represents major financial institutions and other commercial lenders in a broad range of commercial finance transactions, particularly those involving ABL. She represents single lenders and agent/arrangers of multi-lender syndicates in structuring, documenting, and negotiating domestic and cross-border financing transactions.
“Marjorie’s addition allows us to even more comprehensively serve the needs of our clients for expert advice in structuring and documenting sophisticated financing transactions across multiple industries,” said Morgan Lewis Chair Jami McKeon. “Her practice is highly complementary to and strengthens our existing finance team and capabilities.
Ms. Crider also advises lenders in connection with acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, and debtor-in-possession financing transactions. Her range of representations has resulted in her being widely known and sought out by clients to handle complex financings and transactions. “Our clients and lawyers have long admired Marjorie’s practice, and I am delighted she is joining our team,” said Jonathan Bernstein, who leads Morgan Lewis’s finance practice.
“Our broad-based finance practice has a very strong presence in the ABL area generally, and, more specifically, in the retail finance space. Marjorie’s addition deepens our resources and our commitment to this important practice.”
