Holland & Knight has strengthened its Financial Services Team with the addition of Rebecca Chaffin as a partner in Charlotte. Ms. Chaffin focuses her practice on representing agents in leveraged syndicated credit facilities and lenders and trustees in tax-exempt financings. She was previously a partner at McGuireWoods.
“Rebecca will add significant depth to the Charlotte finance practice and Financial Services Team as a whole,” said Cindy Brazell, co-chair of the firm’s Financial Services Team. “She represents a great opportunity for the firm to expand our finance practice, particularly on lender-side middle-market syndicated cash flow transactions.”
Ms. Chaffin has more than 25 years of experience in corporate lending transactions, including syndicated lending and tax-exempt finance. Her experience includes investment grade and leveraged syndicated facilities, including multi-currency facilities, cross-border facilities, letter of credit and credit enhancement facilities, acquisition financings, government contractor lending and employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) financings.
“I am thrilled to join Holland & Knight and look forward to working with my new colleagues on the Financial Services Team,” said Ms. Chaffin. “The firm’s collegial culture, commitment to growth and vast resources nationwide will allow me to expand my practice and client service offerings.”
Ms. Chaffin received a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. degree from Duke University.
