Moore & Van Allen Welcomes Rick Bange, Mike Miller and Stacy Grant to Corporate Team

Richard M. Bange III, Michael R. Miller and Stacy G. Grant have joined the Corporate and Private Equity teams in the Charlotte office of Moore & Van Allen PLLC. Bange has joined as a member of the firm, Miller as counsel and Grant as an associate.

Bange focuses his practice on evaluating, structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions and investment transactions for private equity funds and companies. His work involves leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and sales, mezzanine investments, and recapitalizations. His extensive experience also includes representing private equity sponsors and companies in obtaining senior secured and high-yield financing for leveraged acquisitions and recapitalizations.

Bange was previously a partner in the corporate department and a member of the private equity practice at King & Spalding LLP. He spent eight years practicing in New York City, primarily at O’Melveny & Myers LLP and the former O’Sullivan, Graev & Karabell LLP in the areas of M&A/private equity and finance. He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his bachelor of arts from the University of Virginia.

Miller advises institutional, sponsor-backed and public company clients on a variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts and strategic acquisitions; fund of funds, growth equity and minority co-investment transactions; early-stage financings; divestitures and liquidity transactions; and revolving and term loan acquisition facilities. He was previously a senior associate with King & Spalding. Prior to that Miller practiced for five years in New York City as an associate with Goodwin Procter LLP. He earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and his bachelor of arts with honors from the University of Michigan.

Grant represents companies and private equity funds on a diverse set of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Formerly an associate with King & Spalding, she also worked in New York City as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. In addition, she served as an intern in the Criminal Division of the U.S. States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Grant earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center. She holds a master of arts and bachelor of science magna cum laude from New York University.
