Murphy regularly advises financial institutions and other creditors in workouts, reorganizations and restructuring of defaulted credit facilities. She represents a variety of creditors in all types of bankruptcy, insolvency, collection and foreclosure proceedings.
Murphy is a board member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project and serves on the Board of the Greater Philadelphia Network of International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Federation. She is a member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and the Risk Management Association. In addition, she is a graduate of the Young Leaders Program, a nonprofit board leadership training program held by the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Murphy earned her J.D. with honors from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, her M.S. from Hunter College and her B.A. from Georgetown University.
