Former Assistant United States Attorney Timothy Storino joins Dentons’ Expanding Litigation Team in Chicago

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that Timothy Storino has joined the Firm’s Litigation practice as partner. Storino brings more than 15 years of litigation experience that includes, white-collar defense and investigations, complex civil litigation matters and commercial litigation. Storino served in the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois for approximately nine years. 

During this time, he investigated and prosecuted an array of criminal offenses at the trial and appellate levels. Some of the notable matters that he prosecuted and tried during his tenure include United States v. John Bills, a public corruption/procurement fraud jury trial of a high-ranking Chicago official, and United States v. Gregory Chester, et al., a four-month RICO case against a violent street gang on the Southside of Chicago. Most recently, Storino prosecuted and tried United States v. Labor Spann, a three-month RICO case against the leader of a Westside gang. Prior to joining the US Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Storino served in the same role in the US Attorney’s Office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Storino has argued several cases before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, including appeals related to sentencing matters involving fraud and commodities offenses. He was the Chief of the Violent Crimes Section, with responsibility for supervising numerous federal prosecutors and liaising with the federal, state and local law enforcement officials regarding investigations and prosecution of violent crimes in the Northern District of Illinois.
