The global law firm Jones Day announces that Aaron Charfoos has joined the Firm’s Chicago Office as a partner in its Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Practice.
An accomplished privacy and data protection litigator with deep experience in incidence response and European data privacy compliance, Mr. Charfoos has represented companies in the computer science, telecommunications, financial services, biotechnology, medical devices, food and beverage, and other industries. He is certified information privacy professional for the U.S. private sector (CIPP/US), and also assists clients in addressing European privacy requirements by implementing contractual, compliance, and educational programs that adhere to U.S. and EU regulations.

Mr. Charfoos’s litigation experience has involved complex privacy, data protection, and commercial litigation, and he has represented clients in various trial and appellate courts across the country.
