Kirkland & Ellis advised Trustwave Holdings, Inc., a privately held data protection and information security company headquartered in Chicago with an enterprise value of $850 million, in its acquisition by Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel), one of Asia’s leading communications companies. Following the close of the acquisition, SingTel plans to combine its state-of-the-art information and communications technology with Trustwave’s broad portfolio of managed security services. Post-acquisition, Trustwave will operate as a standalone business unit of SingTel.
