Lathrop & Gage today announced that Christopher D. Mickus has joined its Business Litigation practice group as a Partner in Chicago.
“Chris brings deep business litigation experience that will help us better achieve results for our clients in a variety of areas,” said Sue Charles, Partner in Charge of the Chicago office. “We’re happy to have him join our office as we continue to grow.”
Mickus brings more than 15 years of experience in general and commercial litigation to Lathrop & Gage. He represents clients throughout the country in matters related to litigation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. Formerly with Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, Mickus has an active pro bono practice that assists families and individuals in need in the greater Chicago area. He also is an adjunct faculty member at The John Marshall Law School, where he earned his juris doctor.
With the addition of Mickus, Lathrop & Gage’s Chicago office has 22 attorneys, including 14 Partners. Within its business litigation practice, the Chicago office focuses on the areas of intellectual property, environmental, banking and corporate law.
