DLA Piper announced today that Melainie Mansfield has joined the firm’s Corporate practice as a partner who will work from the Chicago office.
Mansfield represents investment funds, private equity firms, hedge funds and companies on all sides of corporate, lending and restructuring transactions, including troubled debt restructurings, special situations lending and acquisition finance. She has broad experience in secured lending from borrower-side work to large syndicated financings and DIP lending, as well as restructuring M&A, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance and securities trading matters.

Mansfield received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from the University of Michigan, and she is admitted to practice law in California. She is not admitted in Illinois.
