Nixon Peabody is making a big move that significantly diversifies its services in Chicago. William Meyer, Jr., and Randolph Perkins have moved their corporate and litigation practices to Nixon Peabody from Schiff Hardin.

Randolph Perkins serves as strategic legal counsel to help clients with everything from long-term planning in acquisitions and divestures to day-to-day decision making. Randy focuses on domestic and international corporate and commercial transactions, general business counseling and business dispute resolution, and international business restructuring matters. He is well-versed in understanding clients’ business operations and serves as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their business goals. Randolph graduated magna cum laude from University of Illinois College of Law and received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Illinois State University.
William Meyer is a litigator who handles class actions, tort and product liability cases as well as insurance and reinsurance disputes, commercial disputes, and commercial and intellectual property disputes globally. He defends companies in class action litigation matters across the country, including defending manufacturers accused of distributing defective products and major insurance carriers in cases challenging diverse insurance company practices. William graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and earned his AB, cum laude, from Harvard University.
