FisherBroyles LLP has bolstered its Health and Pharmacy Law practice with the addition of a highly experienced physician and attorney.
Donato J. Borrillo, M.D., J.D. joins FisherBroyles as a partner and will work from the Cleveland, Ohio office.

Borrillo is a practicing physician licensed in Ohio, Michigan and New York. He currently serves as the Medical Advisor for The Chrysler (FCA) Toledo Complex, Medical Director of ProHealth, Inc., is on staff with University Hospitals of Cleveland and has practice privileges with The University of Toledo Medical Center, St. Luke’s Hospital, Regency Hospital, Mercy St. Vincent’s Hospital and The Toledo Hospital.
Borrillo has practiced law in Ohio since 1994, focusing in the areas of healthcare law, including healthcare fraud & abuse investigations, regulatory compliance counseling and litigation. Borrillo is also experienced in matters involving class action and mass torts, personal injury and wrongful death defense and occupational injury litigation. He is well versed in OSHA, DOT, FAA, and FMLA statutes and regulations.
In addition to his medical and legal practices, Borrillo served as a Captain, United States Army Reserve Medical Corps and as a Major, U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command, Medical Corps serving in Europe and Africa. He continues his public service as a volunteer member of the Ohio Disaster Medical Assistance Team and has provided medical coverage in Washington, D.C. for Homeland Security during Fourth of July festivities in 2013 and 2015.
Borrillo holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Canisius College, a Masters of Science in Immunology and Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York at Buffalo, a Masters of Science in Aerospace Medicine from Wright State University, and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
