Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has expanded its Columbus office, welcoming attorney G. Randall (Randy) Ayers to the firm. Ayers joins as a partner in Dinsmore’s labor department, bringing a strong background in traditional, management side labor relations.
Ayers practice focuses on a wide variety of labor arbitration and litigation, collective bargaining, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, and more. His experience also includes counseling employers on equal employment opportunity, discrimination, wrongful discharge, non-competition and trade secrets, wage and hour and employee benefits. He has served as lead negotiator/ spokesperson for a Fortune 500 corporation in labor negotiations for multiple industrial and steel facilities and was a member of the 2019 GE National Labor Negotiations Team.
Ayers was named the 2019 Cincinnati Labor Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers, listed in Super Lawyers®, rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, and named one of the top labor and employment lawyers by Corporate Counsel. Ayers earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, currently sits as a National Council member, and was past-president of the Law Alumni Association. He received an A.B. from Earlham College.
The addition of Ayers brings Dinsmore’s attorney headcount to 80 in Columbus. Earlier this year, Stacey Borowicz took over as office managing partner.
