K&L Gates Boosts Outsourcing Practice with Team of Dallas Partners

The Dallas office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Jason D. Krieser and Shawn C. Helms as partners in the firm’s outsourcing and commercial transactions practice. Both join K&L Gates from Jones Day.

Krieser is internationally recognized for his work on business process and information technology outsourcing transactions, particularly offshore outsourcing. He has represented some of the most prominent financial services, energy, communications, transportation, technology, and manufacturing companies on complex licensing and services arrangements, cloud computing matters, and joint ventures, as well as privacy and data security issues.
With broad experience in the areas of information technology, telecommunications, and outsourcing, Helms focuses on complex transactions involving technology and intellectual property. As a leader in the technology and outsourcing fields, he has written numerous articles on technology law and related topics. Previously, he served as in-house counsel at Sprint Corporation.
