Kendall Law Group Hires Matthew Scott to Head Employment Law Practice

Dallas law firm the Kendall Law Group named Matthew Scott to lead the employment law section, according to a press release.

Scott, a 17-year veteran, comes aboard for the Dallas legal job that widens the scope of the firm’s employment discrimination practice.

Scott holds board certification in labor and employment law issued by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

 

“With Matt coming here, we’re in an even better position to represent people who’ve been discriminated against based on race, ethnic or national origin, sex, age – whatever it may be,” founder Joe Kendall with Kendall Law Group said. “When people have a problem with their jobs, it affects every part of their lives and they need the very best legal help. Matt understands their problems and knows how the companies on the other side will react. He’s a very good fit for us.”

He previously was a managing partner with Ford & Harrison where he represented public and private sector companies that are involved in lawsuits for employment discrimination and civil rights.

He holds a law degree from Drake University Law School.
