Law firm Forshey Prostok hired Michelle V. Larson for a Dallas legal job, according to a press release.
Equipped with more than 15 years of experience with bankruptcy and restructuring and commercial litigation, Larson joins the Fort Worth-based firm as a partner and is in charge of the practice’s Dallas office.
She helped represent the Texas Rangers Baseball Club during the franchise’s sale from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
“Michelle’s experience and extensive knowledge of the bankruptcy market and her exceptional reputation in the legal community make her the ideal partner, not only for our firm, but also as the person to lead the growth and expansion of our Dallas office,” founding partner Jeff Prostok with Forshey Prostok said.
Larson said she is enthused about coming aboard one of the state’s top bankruptcy firms, noting she is looking forward to leading the charge in the new office she will oversee.
She holds a law degree from Loyola University of Law, where she served on the Law Review and with the moot court. Her undergraduate degree was awarded by Nicholls State University in Louisiana in accounting.
