Experienced Patent Infringement Litigator Paul Storm Joins Gardere in Dallas

Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP is pleased to announce the addition of intellectual property litigator Paul Storm as a partner in the Firm’s Dallas office. He joins Gardere’s prominent roster of trial lawyers, bringing his extensive experience and significant courtroom expertise in trying patent infringement cases as well as copyright, trade secret, and trademark disputes.

“Paul will be a great addition to our established intellectual property litigation and litigation avoidance practice,” says Steve Good, Gardere’s Managing Partner. “He is an experienced and well-regarded lawyer who will be a great fit for our team.”

Mr. Storm will continue his work representing clients in intellectual property disputes, litigation avoidance, IP procurement, and related counseling. As a member of Gardere’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, he will focus on patent infringement controversies and other IP disputes for clients in a variety of industries.

Mr. Storm established his own boutique IP firm in 2005 and has more than 22 years of experience representing clients before both state and federal courts, including U.S. district courts across the country, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In addition to his law degree, Mr. Storm holds an engineering degree, uniquely positioning him to handle a wide range of patent disputes.

Mr. Storm earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and is licensed to practice before numerous federal district courts, appellate courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
