On September 25, Mediacom Communications Corporation entered into a distribution agreement with TiVo Inc. to provide TiVo’s next-generation whole home DVR solution to Mediacom subscribers.
Mediacom is scheduled to begin rolling out the whole-home DVR service in early 2013. The new system will include a 4-tuner gateway DVR, “Mini IP” set-top box clients and companion apps for Apple iOS and Android devices.
