Shackelford, Melton & McKinley, LLP, is pleased to announce the addition of commercial transactions partner Scott J. Conrad in the firm’s Dallas office.
Mr. Conrad’s practice is focused on public and private financial institutions in structuring, negotiating and documenting energy, real estate and commercial credit facilities. A Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent-rated attorney, in addition Mr. Conrad represents real estate entities in their acquisition, disposition and leasing activities, including the structuring of planned developments and condominiums. He also represents individual businesses and major corporations in negotiating and preparing related corporate agreements and operational arrangements.

Mr. Conrad earned his law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 1993, and his master of laws in taxation from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1994. He earned an undergraduate degree in political science in 1990 from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Conrad joins Shackelford, Melton & McKinley from the Dallas office of Settle & Pou, P.C.
