Alejandro Caraveo Jr. has joined the law firm of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as a Member in the firm’s Dallas office. He joins the firm’s Litigation Department. Caraveo arrives from Lewis Brisbois in Dallas.

Caraveo has co-chaired high exposure personal injury and wrongful death trials with damages in excess of $15 million and has investigated and litigated insurance fraud matters on behalf of multiple carriers, securing more than $16 million in waived claims. He has a background in general liability law with a focus on catastrophic personal injury, product liability, premises liability, first-party commercial and personal lines, insurance coverage, indemnity, and autonomous vehicle litigation. He is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and a member of the Dallas Bar Association.
Caraveo earned his law degree and bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University.
