Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international technology, energy and life sciences law firm, announced today that Travis McRoberts has joined its Corporate Department as a Financial Restructuring partner in the Dallas office. McRoberts joins Baker Botts from Squire Patton Boggs.
McRoberts’ practice focuses on large corporate bankruptcies and the financial restructuring of distressed entities. He has broad experience representing debtors, official committees, secured and unsecured creditors, ad hoc groups, acquirers of distressed assets, and post-confirmation trusts in complex Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings and workouts. His practice has a particular focus on the oil & gas, coal, shipping, retail, and healthcare industries. He also possesses substantial experience in municipal restructurings in various jurisdictions.

McRoberts earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland and his B.A. from Iowa State University. He is admitted in Texas and Delaware.
