FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce Debbie Lively has joined the Dallas, Texas office.
Lively concentrates her practice on intellectual property, licensing, Internet policies, social media, software agreements, sweepstakes rules, and privacy law, focusing a large part of her practice on trademark prosecution and enforcement, including TTAB proceedings. She represents clients in a wide variety of industries including the food and beverage industry, consumer goods, retail sales, software development, nonprofit organizations, and transportation services.
For the past three years, Lively has been named by the World Trademark Review 1000 as one of the top trademark attorneys in Texas. The WTR1000 described her as a “lightning rod for praise” and that she is “a tireless worker” with the “tenacity for making sure that every single detail in a transaction is correct.”

A native of Dallas, Texas, Ms. Lively earned a B.S in Biology and B.A in Chemistry, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University, cum laude, where she was the Managing Editor of the Computer Law Review and Technology Journal. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Lively taught high school chemistry and was a College Board Advanced Placement consultant. Ms. Lively is currently serving on the board of The Arts Community Alliance of North Texas (TACA) and the board of the Duncanville I.S.D. Education Foundation.
