Jeffrey Harvey, who most recently served as executive vice president and general counsel of PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., has joined Holland & Knight’s Dallas office as a partner. PrimeSource is a Dallas area-based global sourcing and distribution company.

Mr. Harvey will use his two decades of experience working in-house at companies like PrimeSource, inthinc Technology Solutions, Inc., and Aerus (formerly ElectroluxUSA), together with his private practice experience representing public and private businesses, investment firms, family offices, institutions and individuals to advise clients on a wide variety of business and finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, intellectual property, real estate, compliance and corporate governance. In 2018, he was named GC/CLO of the Year by D Magazine.

“Jeff’s experience at different types of companies has exposed him to the full gamut of corporate legal issues and in several cases he was required to build programs and processes from scratch,” said Stephen Dietrich, leader of the firm’s corporate practice in the central and west region. “Whether it’s a private equity-backed company, a start-up or a nationally or internationally renowned company, Jeff understands the problems that our clients are facing and is ready to help.”

Mr. Harvey earned J.D. and MBA degrees from Wake Forest University and a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University.
