John Dickey, an accomplished corporate and transactional attorney with over three decades of experience, has joined Polsinelli’s expanding Dallas office as a shareholder. Dickey joins the firm’s national Corporate and Transactional Practice Group.
Dickey’s practice is significantly focused on private equity, corporate finance and capital markets-related matters, both for domestic and international businesses. He has also advised numerous clients with complex regulatory and corporate governance issues. Dickey’s legal guidance is informed by his previous experience as in-house counsel with General Dynamics, where he had extensive responsibility for the company’s international business matters.

Dickey earned his J.D. from the St. Mary’s University School of Law and completed his M.P.A. and B.S. at Texas Christian University. He has also written and spoken extensively on a variety of domestic and international business issues. Dickey is a member of the State Bar of Texas and its Pro Bono College, American Bar Association’s International Law and Corporate Sections, Dallas Bar Association and International Bar Association, and is a fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation and Texas Bar Foundation.
