Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce the arrival of Tracy Wolf as a partner in the firm’s Dallas office. A seasoned trial lawyer, Wolf has extensive experience in employment law, complex commercial litigation, directors & officers’ litigation, general liability, and intellectual property. She joins the firm as a member of its Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education industry group. Wolf joins Husch Blackwell from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, where she was vice-chair of that firm’s Labor & Employment practice group.
Wolf’s career in private practice began with Brown McCarroll, a Husch Blackwell predecessor firm. The two law firms merged in 2013.
“Today’s Husch Blackwell is a very different place than the firm I left back in 2006,” said Wolf. “Brown McCarroll was an excellent law firm but focused mostly on Texas. Since the Husch Blackwell merger, the platform is now national in scope, and the firm’s healthcare group is one of the largest in the U.S. My healthcare clients are going to be really excited about the resources available to them.”
Wolf’s experience in the area of employment law is deep and covers virtually all disputes that arise in the employment context, including litigation concerning the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), discrimination claims under Title VII, and workers’ compensation retaliation claims. She is board certified in Labor & Employment by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
“Tracy is one of the most talented employment lawyers in Texas and her courtroom experience is a perfect fit for our team,” said Husch Blackwell partner Kevin Koronka. “She is incredibly versatile, always prepared, and ready to provide counsel to clients on a broad range of legal challenges. We are delighted to welcome her to the firm.”
“Tracy’s arrival is very much a story about building on our group’s strengths,” said Curt Chase, the head of Husch Blackwell’s Healthcare industry team. “Our Texas healthcare practice anchors the firm’s larger healthcare group, and Tracy helps round out a service offering for healthcare providers that we feel is unrivalled.”
Wolf’s arrival follows the firm’s high-profile expansion into Boston and Providence, Rhode Island, led by an 11-lawyer group from Summit Health Law Partners.
“This team has a lot of momentum. It is taking care of the most important thing—providing clients with great service and great legal counsel—and there are a lot of excellent practitioners here who are collegial, collaborative, and driven. I look forward to contributing to our continued growth and success,” added Wolf.
