Christine Williford has joined Locke Lord’s Dallas office as a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Williford brings to the nationally recognized Corporate team at Locke Lord a broad corporate and securities practice with a focus on representing both buyers and sellers in private M&A transactions, as well as capital market transactions and SEC reporting and compliance.

Williford, who joins the Firm from Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, regularly advises clients on corporate governance and other general corporate matters. She has represented a wide range of companies, from Dow 30 and Fortune 150 companies to small, privately held companies, including startups. She has advised clients on a wide variety of matters, ranging from daily operations to financing and acquisition/disposition transactions. Williford also has experience representing issuers and underwriters in multi-jurisdictional equity and debt offerings. She has represented both purchasers and sellers in cross-border M&A transactions and has advised clients on other general U.S. corporate matters. She has been named a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2016.

Williford is an active member of the Dallas community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Cancer Support Community of North Texas. She is also President of Club Blue, the young professionals arm of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas. In addition, she is the Vice President of YPF for Kids (formerly known as Young Professionals in Finance for Kids). She is a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation and a member of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and Association for Corporate Growth DFW.
