Locke Lord Boosts Tax and Transactional Capabilities With Addition of Will Becker as Partner in Firm’s Dallas Office

Will Becker has joined Locke Lord’s Dallas office as a Partner in the Firm’s Tax Department. Becker is well versed in federal income, Texas franchise and sales and use tax matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, REITs, real estate joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, corporate reorganizations, spin-offs and restructurings. Becker, who joins the Firm from Andrews Kurth Kenyon LLP where he was a Partner, assists clients in analyzing a variety of tax matters and their impact on corporations, S corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, real estate investment trusts, hedging transactions and other derivative transactions.

Becker has assisted nonprofit clients in forming public charities and private foundations, including filing for federal income tax exemption status for such entities. He was also profiled as one of the leading tax lawyers in the United States by The Legal 500.
