Frost Brown Todd (FBT) has added Partner Rebecca Matthews to the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group in the firm’s Dallas office. Matthews arrives at the firm from Vinson & Elkins in Dallas.
Matthews brings experience that spans across all aspects of restructuring and reorganization, including the representation of debtors, lenders, creditors, landlords, and trustees. She has litigated a broad range of proceedings and has worked extensively in the energy, oil and gas, real estate, banking and financial services, retail, and telecom industries.

Additionally, Matthews has significant experience representing clients in cases before both the federal bankruptcy and district courts and regularly speaks on matters ranging from the unique aspects of litigating in bankruptcy court to legal ethics.

Matthews has served the boards of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, Turnaround Management Association, and Women’s Energy Network. She is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law and did her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware. She is admitted to practice in both Texas and California.
