Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to announce that three litigation partners – Natalie Arbaugh, Tom Walsh, and Danielle Williams – have joined the firm. This prestigious team of attorneys will join Winston & Strawn from Fish & Richardson, and will continue their focus on complex commercial, business, and intellectual property litigation matters. Ms. Arbaugh and Mr. Walsh join as founding partners of Winston & Strawn’s new Dallas office. Ms. Williams will collaborate closely with the Dallas litigation group and will be located in Winston’s Charlotte office.

Winston & Strawn’s Dallas lineup includes a significant number of high-profile attorneys who previously served in leadership positions and are recognized for their efforts to promote inclusivity. For example, Ms. Arbaugh, a nationally recognized leader in women-in-the-law issues, was recently selected for the 2017 Diversity Leader Award and named to the 2016 “Women Worth Watching List” by Profiles in Diversity Journal. At her prior firm, Ms. Arbaugh served as an elected member of the five-person compensation committee and as the nationwide chair of the firm’s women’s initiative. Additionally, Ms. Williams serves on the Board of Trustees for the Salem Academy & College, the oldest educational institution for women in the United States.
Mr. Walsh served as an elected member of his prior firm’s seven-person Management Committee and as a longtime deputy in that firm’s litigation practice. Mr. Walsh is an accomplished trial lawyer with substantial experience successfully handling complex commercial litigation, class action, and patent litigation cases in jurisdictions throughout Texas and the United States. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation since 2014 and selected for the Texas Super Lawyers list of top Lawyers in Texas annually since 2007.

Ms. Arbaugh represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of industries in state and federal courts throughout the country in complex business and intellectual property disputes, including serving as co-lead counsel with the Texas Attorney General’s Office in the trial of the largest Medicaid fraud case in Texas history.
Ms. Williams brings extensive experience handling complex patent and commercial disputes, including patent infringement, securities fraud, RICO, and complex contract matters, in federal and state courts across the United States, as well as domestic and international arbitration forums. She regularly speaks and writes on patent damages issues. Ms. Williams was also recognized in Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation in 2016.
