Fisher & Phillips hired Lawrence Lee to help fill a Denver legal job, according to a press release.

Joining as a partner, Lee is set to join the national law firm’s labor and employment practice. His practice focuses on employment litigation, counseling and defense of clients faced with charges of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and harassment.

Additionally, he will work on breach of contract claims that are leveled by managers and executives who have been discharged.

“Larry brings a tremendous amount of energy and experience to our practice,” managing partner Todd Fredrickson with the Denver office of Fisher & Phillips said. “We are excited to have such a skilled attorney ready to provide high quality service to our rapidly expanding client base.”

His practice also includes advice regarding personnel issues, compliance, firings and disciplinary action. He is experienced with trying employment matters before juries, judges and arbitrators.

Lee comes from Gordon & Rees, before which he was at Baker Hostetler. He served as a senior attorney with the office of the attorney general in Colorado.
