Dentons Boosts IP Litigation Strength With New Partner in Denver

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that Elizabeth Manno has joined the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice. Resident in the Denver office, Manno focuses her practice on patent infringement and other intellectual property litigation, including trademark litigation. Manno joins the firm from Perkins Coie LLP. 

Manno represents clients in a variety of technology fields, including semiconductors, GPS, wireless devices, databases and medical devices. Her experience includes litigating cases and securing victories for leading technology companies in federal courts across the country, as well as the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Manno has served as a core member of patent litigation teams that have won preliminary injunctions for clients against their infringing competitors in various jurisdictions nationwide.

Prior to joining Dentons, Manno was in private practice. She also spent two years clerking for a federal district court judge in the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida, as well as a year clerking for the chief justice of the Colorado Supreme Court.

Manno is an active member of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL), and received its Virginia S. Mueller Outstanding Member award in 2019. She currently chairs NAWL’s Survey on the Promotion and Retention of Women in Law Firms. She also serves as a volunteer lawyer for the Colorado Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network, representing clients seeking asylum in the United States. A prolific writer on patent and legal issues, Manno has published in World IP Review, BNA-Bloomberg, Law360, Inside Counsel and other publications.

Manno earned her JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her BA from George Washington University.
