Wilson Elser announced today the addition of two new partners, Emily Aguero and Jane Lucero, to the firm’s Denver office. Aguero and Lucero, whose collaborations on behalf of several key clients − including a prominent national insurance carrier − span more than seven years, are both former shareholders at Harris, Karstaedt, Jamison & Powers, P.C.
Aguero works primarily on construction defect litigation. She also has handled cases involving premises liability, personal injury, family law, land use, subrogation, fire losses, employment law and copyright infringement. Aguero frequently draws on her experience as a labor and employment attorney. She holds bar admissions in Colorado and Florida.
Lucero focuses her practice on personal injury cases, including auto accidents and premises liability claims. She also has experience with defamation, wrongful death, construction liability, trucking liability, intellectual property, insurance bad faith and toxic tort claims. Lucero was elected to the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
“We are excited to have these two accomplished attorneys join our office,” said Denver Regional Managing Partner Jason Melichar. “They are exceptionally well regarded in the Denver area and beyond. Their approaches to practicing law and assisting clients complement one another and are in keeping with Wilson Elser’s client service principles and practices.”
Aguero and Lucero look forward to taking full advantage of Wilson Elser’s national footprint and full range of practice areas to more comprehensively advance their clients’ legal and business objectives.
