Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international technology, energy and life sciences law firm, announced today that Alexander Hendry has joined the Dubai office as a partner in the Corporate Department. He is the sixth lateral partner to join Baker Botts since the beginning of February.
Based in the Middle East for five years, Mr. Hendry advises clients globally on complex corporate and commercial issues relating to space and satellites, digital infrastructure, enterprise IT, outsourcing, fintech, and payments. He also has expertise in commercial contracts in defense, entertainment, sports, media, intellectual property, technology regulatory compliance and data privacy, and in supporting corporate and finance transactions. Previously, Mr. Hendry worked in Singapore for over two years, prior to which he practiced in the UK for several years.

Mr. Hendry joins Baker Botts from Latham & Watkins in Dubai. His arrival closely follows that of Global Projects partner Shane Wilson and counsel Chad Passlow in the Dubai office.
