Ruairí has more than eleven years’ experience working with domestic and international financial institutions, alternative lenders and borrowers operating in Ireland, and is joining DWF from William Fry. His practice consists primarily of acquisition, development and real estate finance and he also has experience in loan sales, financial regulation and general corporate banking, working across various sectors.
Louis Burke, banking partner in DWF’s Dublin office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Ruairí to DWF as we look to build on the significant growth seen throughout the Dublin office over the last couple of years, particularly in the banking and finance team. The legal market in Dublin is evolving and having people with Ruairí’s hunger and drive to succeed is crucial as we continue with our efforts to transform legal services through our people for our clients”.
Ruairí added: “I am pleased to be joining DWF at such an exciting time. I believe DWF will provide me with the perfect platform to further develop my existing relationships and I am looking forward to working with Louis and the other partners in Dublin to further expand DWF’s offering, both in Dublin and internationally”.
Ruairí’s appointment is the latest senior hire into DWF’s banking and finance teams. In June, DWF’s Australian banking and finance team doubled in size through the recruitment of Elpis Korosidis and her team of 15. While in March, Brendan Slack joined the London banking team from Dentons.
