Barnes & Thornburg has announced that Kevin M. DiDio will be joining the firm’s Corporate Department in the firm’s Southeast Michigan office.
DiDio focuses his practice on advising clients in highly technical and regulated industries including manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, automotive, high-tech, investment banking, and financial services in regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and joint ventures. He has managed significant transactions for established manufacturers and startups.
“It’s an exciting and uncharted time for manufacturing, with increased investment and legislation pushing, for instance, for the transition to electric vehicles,” said David Gotlieb, chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s Corporate Department. “Kevin’s depth of knowledge in the automotive and manufacturing sectors is a fantastic addition to our Southeast Michigan presence.”
Over the past 25 years, DiDio has become a trusted adviser to businesses seeking knowledgeable guidance in cross-border business transactions, private equity investments, joint ventures and strategic alliances, corporate finance, corporate structure and governance, and business taxation.
“Kevin is a long-time Michigander with an impressive background helping clients through corporate law and transactional issues in a number of sectors,” said Robert R. Stead, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Southeast Michigan office. “We’re very pleased to be adding Kevin and his vast industry experience to our team in Ann Arbor.”
“Barnes & Thornburg has a strong foothold in Southeast Michigan, and we’re excited to bring Kevin on board to further support our local and national clients,” said William R. Boudreaux, partner in the firm’s Southeast Michigan office.
DiDio received his B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law.
